About the Author – Michael Frayn , critically acclaimed British columnist, novelist and playwright who wrote the hilarious Noises Off and the Tony Award winning drama Copenhagen , is known for his witty critiques of modern culture. First and foremost a humorist, Frayn has been applauded for his effective blending of serious and comedic elements in his work.

About the Composer/Lyricist – Stephen Sondheim , winner of multiple Tony Awards, Grammy Awards, and the Pulitzer Prize, and described as “the greatest and perhaps best-known artist in the American musical theatre,” got his big break when he wrote the lyrics for West Side Story . He went on to write the music and lyrics for a host of other shows such as Sweeney Todd and Follies. COMPANY is known as a “concept musical” which epitomizes the composer’s revered approach of combining style, story and intellect within the musical comedy genre. |

About the Author – John Steinbeck , the celebrated Nobel Prize-winning American writer of twenty-seven books, including the Grapes of Wrath and East of Eden , brought his birthplace, the picturesque Salinas Valley, as well as Monterey and parts of San Joaquin Valley, to memorable life in several of his stories. The touching and tragic OF MICE AND MEN is one of Steinbeck’s classic stories and was adapted for the stage by Steinbeck himself.
