James, playing Agnes
and serving as Director for I DO! I DO!, has
performed at many venues in the Bay Area and beyond,
including Marin Theatre Company where she played Sally
in Me and My Girl (earning her the Dean Goodman Choice
Award for Outstanding Principal Performance), Ruth
in Wonderful Town, and Gladys Bumps in Pal Joey, Sierra
Repertory Theatre (Prudie in Pump Boys and Dinettes),
Willows Theatre Concord (Sister Leo in Nunsense),
Shakespeare Santa Cruz (Gloria Thorpe in Damn Yankees),
California Conservatory Theatre (Isabelle in Crossing
Delancey and Rosalind in Moon Over Buffalo), Center
Repertory Theatre (Josephine/Monica in Romance •
Romance and Sophie in Star Spangled Girl), Idaho Shakespeare
Festival, several Los Angeles productions and many
more. Julie is a member of Actors' Equity.
